The healthcare industry is filled with dedicated, highly trained people. We have invested billions in great technology and untold hours in process improvement. But have we delivered on the promise? Results are less than the sum of all those wonderful parts. Here is an example. This is what it takes to get an aspirin to apatient in one of "America's 100 Best (and Most Wired) Hospitals."
